The Centurion Track 100 is an elite level event, designed for runners to compete under the fastest possible conditions and with a focus on record setting. The main focus is on the 100 mile distance, but official record ratifiable splits are also taken at 50km, 50 mile, 100km, 6hr and 12hrs on route.

In 2022 the 100 Mile Event was certified Gold Label through the IAU, with the 12hr mark also Gold Label. The other four official splits/ distances all hold a silver label. For 2023 these labels will be re-submitted and upgraded.

At the 2021 event, Aleksandr Sorokin the World 24hr Champion, set new 100 mile and 12 hour World Records. Samantha Amend broke the long standing British 100 mile record. And a total of 14 National and World Best marks were set for both 100 miles and some of the shorter splits.

At the 2022 event, Aleksandr Sorokin broke the Mens 100km World Record, running 6:05:41 and setting a new World best 6hr mark too. Camille Herron and Dominika Stelmach set numerous World, Continental and National Age Group Bests. And the British Womens 100 mile record was lowered again by Sam Amend to 14:10 with a new 12hr British 12hr record on route. In total, 20 new World, Continental or National Records were set.

The 100 mile distance final cut off is 17 hours.

This race follows in the footsteps of some of the classic events seen during the 1970s and 1980s when many of the fastest British 100 mile times were set. A full list of the All Time top British 100 mile performances for both men and women can be found via the stats page here.

The course will be officially measured and certified under UKA standards, be overseen by a UKA referee, a UKA Level 4 time keeper and holds a UKA permit.

Anti-Doping will be in place for any World or Continental Open Records.
